Balashi Beer Experience
The Balashi Beer Experience is a new visitor experience in Aruba about the island's own beer. Big Orange created the audio for it: music, soundscapes, sound design and voice-over that give each room its own atmosphere and carry the story of Aruba and Balashi.
Challenge
The Balashi Beer Experience at the Gloria Entertainment Center is a walkthrough with a story. Brewmaster Buchi guides visitors through Aruba, from an authentic Cunucu house to a real Aruban rum shop, where they taste their first Balashi.
Our part was the music. Twelve rooms each needed their own atmosphere, but the visit still had to feel like one story and sound like Aruba.
Result
With Antillean musicians we made swinging Aruban music for all twelve rooms. After months of production, Ad van Dongen flew to Aruba for a week to do the final mix on location. The experience opened in October 2026.
