Flugt - The Barrack

Flugt - The Barrack.

Since last June, FLUGT - Refugee Museum of Denmark in Oksbøl, has a new exhibition in an actual barrack. Between 1945 and 1949, German refugees lived in barracks like this one. You walk through the bunk-bed rooms, the corridor and the washroom, and in every space someone from the camp tells their story. We created the audio experience: cast the (21!) actors, recording in Danish, German and English, and built the spatial sound design and music around it.
